  1. Short:    Add "From:" field to email

  8. This script will add a pre-defined name and email address to the top
  9. line of your email/news message, in the format of:
  10.  
  11. "From: Name <email@address>" (without quotes).
  12.  
  13. This is handy for those times when you need a different name and/or
  14. email address to appear in the "From" field of the recipient's mail/news
  15. reader. Using this script will save you the hassle of adding that name
  16. and address by hand.
  17.  
  18. To install, un-archive and drop the from.ged script into your
  19. Golded/arexx drawer. To run, select Macros/Makro: Run...
  20.  
  21. To configure, load up the script into your text editor (Golded, I hope
  22. ;) and edit "A. Name <someone@foo.com>" in line 33 to the name and email
  23. address you require (make sure the format stays the same).

  25. From.ged should work in any email/news reader where Golded is being used
  26. as the text editor.

  28. If you use several different Names and/or addresses, just copy the
  29. script, amend the name and/or address accordingly and save the script
  30. with a different name (perhaps a name that reflects the one it will
  31. insert).

  33. To Do's: Add choice of "From:" or "Reply-to:", or both. And select
  34. pre-configured Names and addresses from list.
